FIELD NOTE 01
Trail and pure sequence
A trail contains three equal ranks, such as 7♣ 7♦ 7♥. A pure sequence contains a consecutive run in one suit, such as 7♥ 8♥ 9♥. In classic Teen Patti, the trail ranks higher.
FIELD NOTE 02
Sequence and colour
A sequence is consecutive without all cards sharing a suit, for example 4♣ 5♦ 6♥. A colour has one suit without a run, such as 2♣ 7♣ J♣. The sequence is higher in the classic ladder.
FIELD NOTE 03
Pair and high card
A pair has two equal ranks, such as 9♣ 9♥ K♦. An ungrouped hand falls into high card. Compare the pair rank first, or compare high-card ranks in descending order.
FIELD NOTE 04
Resolve the exceptions
Read the table’s ace sequence order and tie handling. Do not introduce a suit hierarchy or a joker merely because you have seen one in another game.
