A beginner needs a readable sequence of actions before learning any advanced table variation. This walkthrough uses free score units and visible cards.
STEP 01
Start with the table agreement
Use a standard 52-card deck without jokers for classic practice. Our teaching table accepts two to six learners; actual room capacity is set by the publisher. Choose a shared sequence rule before dealing.
STEP 02
Deal and identify your information
Give each learner three cards. A blind player has not looked at those cards; a seen player has. That distinction changes what the player knows and can affect the permitted virtual-credit action in a particular room.
STEP 03
Move through the hand
Take one action when it is your turn. Continue only within the room’s free practice rules, or fold to leave the hand. When the rules call for a show, compare categories before ranks.
STEP 04
Debrief one decision
Write down why the winning hand outranked the other one. For example, three sevens form a trail and beat a same-suit run under the classic ladder. Review the rule instead of predicting the next deal.
